Hello Urania, i struggle with self compassion, expressing (negative) emotions - i used to get caught up in them and act out and would get vocal and now i do the other extreme where i (mostly) say nothing but i don’t like it cause i feel i am not honouring myself, i am defensive when my partner points out an issue and i struggle a lot with trusting God’s timing. any tips on how to navigate these cause i need more peace in my life.

Thank you for the advice. I’ve learnt a valuable lesson on oversharing with my old instagram account and WhatsApp status. I’d been sharing too many stories about myself especially to those who haven’t made an effort to contact me. So I’ve stopped it’s been a couple of weeks. I’ve decided to keep my business to myself. So now my WhatsApp is absolutely quiet. I don’t tell anyone what’s happening and everything is now a mystery

Thanks for this video Urania. It's so inspiring. I've learnt this lesson a bit late as I struggled with keeping things private on my former Instagram account and WhatsApp. I shared too much unknowingly as I enjoyed getting attention from the amount of views. I came to notice the distance in so called friendships, how people haven't reached out to me for a long time. I saw that i was the only one making an effort to message them, meanwhile they had all the access to view my regular stories. I realised i needed to set boundaries. So I put a stop to posting stories and also who has access to see them. I've felt nothing but peace since

A lot of classless behaviour I see is people walking around with the phone 📞 on scrolling and messaging on WhatsApp/ Social media, crashing into others, walking so slow and holding people up. Such selfish behaviour. Another classless behaviour I see is what people do on the weekends, women drinking on public transport services. Drunk, loud and dressed in a provocative manner

I’m just starting to get myself sorted out at almost 55 yrs old. So I am very much a newbie here 😂 I am wondering about, well ok I will just say it. I was supposed to participate in a self defense course as a part of my orientation at a new job ( medical records - don’t know why but anyway) since I have been in a altercation with a man who grabbed me from behind and I seemed to automatically flip him over my shoulders without thinking, when they wanted us to hit a cushion and do all these moves I found it very triggering when I actually had to think about it and found myself off to the side just watching. I’m wondering how best to address this hurdle and still move forward in my feminine journey? I do have a counselor I will be discussing this with because I didn’t know this was an issue until now. Do I take a private course in self defense or should I work on developing other creative hobbies first as I’m healing? I’m just looking for options from those who have been taking the journey longer. Maybe I do both at a slower pace?
